Brian Flores
Owner & President
Brian Flores is the owner and president of Brian Flores Contractors, Inc. He was born at Carswell Airforce Base in Ft. Worth, Texas. Two years later his family moved back to Indian river county where Brian grew up and currently serves. He graduated from Vero Beach High School, earned his A.S. Degree in Building Construction Technology from Indian River State College, and has completed many courses in Organizational Management.
Brian knew he wanted to be a contractor from a young age (he has a 3rd grade journal to prove it). In grade school he took all the classes he thought would help with this profession such as drafting, carpentry, and extra math classes. He started working as a framer with the co-op program where he left school at lunch to go work at the jobsite. Once he graduated high school in 2000 he became Jobsite Foreman for that framing crew. Once he had enough management and college experience to apply for the Florida Residential Contractor exam, he did so, and became one of Florida’s youngest residential contractors. At that time the college professor of Building Construction Technology selected Brian out of current and previous students to oversee the build on his personal project. After the project was over he launched his company in 2004 and a few months later South Florida experienced Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne. His company grew in reputation and size until the market downturn of 2008. At that time Brian scaled back to a few employees and was able to stay busy in that downturn. In 2013 Brian chose to shut down his company and enjoy a few adventures with his new family. He first moved to Hammonton, NJ to be the Facilities/Project Manager at Camp Haluwasa. Then he went on to be an estimator for North American Roofing in Asheville, NC before moving back to Vero Beach, Florida where he became a Project Manager for Beachland Homes, a franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes. After starting a spec home in September of 2016 he started his company back up and has been steadily growing in size and reputation. Brian’s goal is to be one of the most trusted names in the industry, build a company that his family is proud to have their name on, and make construction a joyful occasion.
Brian spends his free time with his family and his church family enjoying local gardens, zoos, beaches, rivers, BBQ, movies, board games, swimming, etc. He also enjoys playing guitar, bass, and drums and is currently a drummer for the worship team at GraceSpring Church.
